How to use different types of flour?
We all remember the taste of homemade buns, buns and other doughy snacks made from standard wheat flour.
Different types of flour are present in modern cooking and on supermarket shelves. Some people use them as a substitute for gluten-containing flour, and others for their valuable qualities.
If you belong to the group of those who are still not familiar with the benefits of different types of flour, we advise you to read our article, in which you will be informed about how to use them correctly. It should be borne in mind that not every flour is suitable for the recipe you have in mind.

Classic flour
Classic flour is used to make pasta and pasta. It is perfect for fluffy pogacha or kozunak, for breakfast such as soft drinks and buns. It is the most used flour and is present in the kitchen of every family. Wheat is rich in fiber, contains iron, calcium and protein.
Rye flour
Rye flour is used to make bread or kvass. The nutritional values and qualities are quite similar to those of classic wheat flour. Rye flour helps lower cholesterol and improve intestinal permeability.
Spelled flour
Spelled flour is common in recipes. It is a more expensive, but also healthier variant of wheat flour. It has a pleasant taste and is easily absorbed. Spelled flour has similar qualities to classic wheat. It is rich in fiber and useful substances. Its use makes the products more tender and tasty. You can use it the next time you make bread or pita.
GLUTEN FREE
Almond flour
It is obtained by grinding almonds. A good source of magnesium, Omega-3 and vitamin E. One cup of almond flour provides 320.4 milligrams of magnesium. Almond flour is lower in carbohydrates and this makes it preferred by dieters.
Almond flour is used for small baked goods such as biscuits, scones and pancakes. If you wish to include it in bread making, we advise you to add an equal amount of wheat flour.
Oat flour
Oat flour is similar to wheat flour in texture. The main difference is that it is gluten-free and high in protein. It is rich in antioxidants and nitric oxide, thanks to which it helps to reduce blood pressure. Oat flour can be used for cakes, biscuits, pancakes and more.
Coconut flour
Coconut flour is also gluten-free. It is obtained by grinding and drying the inner part of coconuts. It is characterized by low carbohydrate content and high protein, fiber and fat content. Coconut flour helps to reduce weight and reduce appetite.
You can use coconut flour to make cookies and other desserts. Please note that it has a lower density than other flours.
Buckwheat flour
Buckwheat is a cereal crop that does not grow like grass. It is considered a superfood and is increasingly used in cooking. It is rich in antioxidants, keeps blood sugar levels low and helps with heart health. Buckwheat flour can be used as a substitute for wheat flour.
